EMINEM SAYS HE SPENT $600 ON NAS 'ILLMATIC' CASSETTE TAPE

 

Over the weekend, Eminem was on the Clubhouse app to promote his new gathering, ShadyCon, which featured NFT auctions. 

Eminem ended up talking about his extensive memorabilia collection. Em said in a statement prior to the Clubhouse meeting, "I've been collecting since I was a kid, everything from comic books to baseball cards to toys, as well as every rap album on cassette I could get my hands on." “As an adult, not much has changed for me.” When Eminem arrived in the Clubhouse area, he was asked to elaborate on the subject, which he gladly did, but one piece of memorabilia stood out: an unopened cassette tape of Nas' classic debut Illmatic, which Eminem said he paid about $500 or $600 for.

I have been collecting Eminem memorabilia since I was 11, so this was very exciting even though everything was $500-$5,000 (the grand prize ended up selling for $100,000)
